Mehmet’s work on the BaTiO3/Ge epitaxial interface published. This detailed work describes multiple interfacial structures, the polarization profiles in the BaTiO3, electronic spectra at the interface, and an intriguing switching of electron to hole conduction at the interface for the appropriate top electrode.
